New Song Celebration Choir Rehearsals moved to 8am on Sunday Mornings.

The Choir will rehearse on Sundays at 8am until October.

The Choir can use anyone who wants to sing God Praises during worship. You don't need to read music. Both men and Women are welcome. Come join the fellowship and live the "Choir" experience. The Choir meets for about 45 minutes starting at 8am on Sunday Mornings in the sanctuary.

EVE'S PLACE MISSION PROJECT:
Preparing meals for safe house in Surprise on May 17 at 11am

In our continuing effort to help those in need, we are preparing meals and freezing them for Eve’s Place. Eve’s Place is a safe house in Surprise for battered women and children. In the last three months the safe house provided safety to 27 women and 33 children, a total number of bed nights provided was 354. Meet at 11am in the church Kitchen on Saturdays to help prepare the meals.
If you are interested in spending an hour or two on Saturday mornings preparing these meals, please contact Judi Brawner, 544-4844.

New Song Katrina Work Team
Returns from week in Mississippi (Oct. 29 - Nov. 4)

Our mission work team spent a week working in the Gulf coast area of Mississippi ravaged by Hurricane Katrina. This was our sixth Katrina Mission trip. See more on the "Katrina" web page.

Pastor Galene Begins New Song Ministry

Rev. Galene Boyett has been appointed to succeed founding
pastor Rev. Steve Marshall as New Song's new senior pastor.
Rev. Boyett's new appointment began July 1st. She has served
as pastor of Desert Chapel UMC in Apache Junction, AZ since 2002. You can
